Rehmat Khan (25), who is a dropout from school, Rahees Khan (26), Abdul Hussain (33) and Mozzam Aly were identified as the main accusers.
While Shah learned to print fake currency on YouTube, Khan, who had worked at a cyber café, knew how to operate printers. They circulated FICN and Indian currency in markets. Bareilly SSSP Prabhakar Chaudhary said, “We arrested three persons with counterfeit currency notes worth Rs 71,800. Mozzam is missing and our teams are trying to find him. All the accused were booked under sections 420 (cheating), 489b (using as genuine, any counterfeit or forged currency notes), 489c (possession of counterfeit or forged currency notes), and 489d (making or possessing instruments or materials for forging or counterfeiting currency notes) of IPC.” Kanwardeep Singh
