Ackerstein Industries enters the field of concrete printing – Israel News

Ackerstein In the latest innovation, Industries, Israel’s leading concrete company, has entered the concrete printing field. The company will design, manufacture, and market products using a 3D printer that is the first of its type in Israel’s industrial sector. Ackerstein, as part of its strategic move signed a collaboration agreement with CyBeA Dutch company developed concrete printing technology. Ackerstein plans to launch new product line for street furniture, environmental development and other uses. This will demonstrate the technology’s capabilities and introduce a design language in space.

Concrete printing uses a combination 3D design software and a concrete injection system mounted on a robot arm. This allows concrete to be cast into almost any shape, without molds, and reduces the depreciation to zero. The innovative technology and the concrete mixture allows for the production of a product printed in 24 hours, which can be transported to any location within the country.

Ehud danoch, CEO Ackerstein Industries“We are pleased to enter this innovative field of 3D Concrete Printing. This revolution is in the production and design of many products, such as buildings, street furniture and coverings. This technology is in line with Ackerstein’s innovation tradition, which has been followed for over 100 years. It also fits with Ackerstein’s environmental vision that advocates using the least amount of raw materials possible while maintaining high quality. This technology is used in construction and environmental design by leading companies around the world. I’m sure this move will place Israel at the forefront of the concrete printing industry.”

Concrete printing can also be considered a production method that is energy-efficient and environmentally friendly. Printing is done at a rate of approximately half a meters per second. This allows for high productivity and substantial savings on raw materials. Concrete printing is used around the world, but it was only recently that concrete printing became commercially available for residential, infrastructure, and environmental design products. Ackerstein developed its new range of printed concrete products in recent months. These include environmental furniture, retaining walls, and coverings for building facades.
