Stuff has introduced its Sunday Information newspaper will wrap up on the finish of July.

The paper, which has been going for 61 years, was notorious for its sensationalist headlines.

Stuff introduced the closure in a information article in its paper and on its web site on Sunday morning.

Stuff masthead publishing managing director Joanna Norris mentioned that they had been reviewing their portfolio over the previous 12 months and determined that Sunday Information was now not a great match.

The information comes simply days after Stuff mentioned it was shutting its final remaining Northland group newspapers.

Rival writer NZME mentioned it was reducing employees at most of its regional newspapers so it may divert assets to main centres.

The primary version of Sunday Information was revealed in 1961. The ultimate version might be revealed on 28 July.
